Hello everyone. This is my first log-in since being accepted as a member. My wife is a T2DM and I'm here to slearn how to best support her. I have to limit my comments because I work for BD - Diabetes Care and do not want to create any conflicts of interest or bias.

Welcome, Mike, and thanks for the honest disclosure. It must be great to work in a place that is focused on a cause that is so close to you. Personally, I've been hoping to find myself in such a role for some time. While I understand the need to be cautious of what you may say here, I hope you still can come away with some valuable tips and information for your wife, and a better understanding of what you can do as a devoted and supportive husband.
Hi Mike, I can't find it right now in our "Terms of Use" or other notes in our "About Us" section on the top banner, but I know Manny has frequently let people know about the professionalism of this member who works for Roche, Rob Muller

http://www.tudiabetes.org/profile/RobMuller

Rob let us know about a recall on the Accu-chek Spirit one time before Roche could get the word out to the users of the pump (I really appreciated that). I also know we have an active member from Sanofi here. She came to the rescue of a member who needed some help with one of their insulins one time. Please don't hesitate if you have any questions regarding commercial conflicts, click on the "contact us" link at the very very bottom of every page, and it will send a message directly to the admin team.
Hello Mike:

LOL... if you can figure out how to "avoid em" (having a bias of some type) let us know will ya ?! We won't hold it against you... cant imagine how it will interfere per se, but thank you for the disclosure none the less.

How can we assist an honest husband?
Stuart
