A1C is still 6.0!! I'm so happy. The pump has been such a great tool and I am thankful for all your help, support and advice. Here is to the start of the next three months...

Stemwinder, you can do as good. Don't settle, it took a lot of adjusting. I had to send my numbers in every 3 days for weeks until satisfaction and by that I mean my satisfaction. Your worth good control. I have a tight range because my husband and I are trying to conceive and I am blessed with a great endo, perinatologist and CDE (who also has the big D). It is all about team work. You can't let your doctor run the show. How often do you test? Do you keep a Log? Call your doctor Gary :0) xx

Permalink Reply by Stemwinder on January 16, 2013 at 4:54pm Thanks Kristin, I have called him and he said the results I'm getting now are acceptable and he understands that I'm use to doing better. He wants me to stay the course until I see him again in a few weeks. He wants to see what trends develop. I will give him that for now but I'm not one to suffer inaction for too long.
I managed a 5.5 A1c with little help from my GP (before seeing endo) and I see no reason I can't do so with my pump.
I have been keeping up with your progress with you pump and I'm glad to see you doing so well, it gives me encouragement. Excellent job Kristin.
