Hi everyone.
those of you who own an aquapac waterproof insulin pump case:
Do you know what the cord that comes with it is for and if it is for hanging
around your neck, etc. how does it attach to the case?

I just got mine, it took me a few minutes to figure it out, but this old brain finally got it. The belt is amazingly long, might need to cut it.
But I tested it in a large bowl of water and my pump was dry. KInd of expensive but now I can swim and not have to worry so much about my BG's..
thanks...

I still use my sports guard case that I got back when I got my first Minimed pump. They no longer sell it, but it can still be purchased from other sources online. I just came back from vacation in Key West where I used it to go swimming and snorkeling. The belt is long, but can be easily cut to size.

Any particular website?

Mine came with a belt loop. It goes through a slit in the back of the clear case and I put my pump in the case and wear it like a belt. Didn't seem too long but it was very adjustable. Used it last summer in Jamaica.

This works for the smaller new pumps by minimed. They do not endorse it however. Wish that they would just make the pump waterproof in the first place. Their recommendation is to take it off when you swim. Makes it hard to enjoy snorkeling at leisure.
