I know this sounds silly, but I often accidentally set my BG reminder on my MM722.

In the bolus wizard, I have this feature turned on and it remembers the last setting. Sometimes I push ACT too many times, too quickly.

Right now, I am about to go to bed, but I just set a BG reminder for one hour from the bolus. The vibration of the pump disrupts my sleep (but doesn't necessarily wake me up). So I spent a half an hour looking through the manual to find a way to CANCEL this BG reminder, but I didn't find anything.

Does anyone know if there is a way to cancel the BG reminder?

I guess the hour will be up soon! ;)

Ha! I just figured the answer immediately after posting. If I turn the BG alarm feature off for the night, then it shouldn't beep right?

Well I'll try it!

Well I think 1 hour is a little too early to test BS after bolusing for food, I usually do my test at 2 hours after eating, and then if I remember I do the 3 Hour test because that's when my sensitivity is set. I think the BS reminder is the same as all other warnings, ACT ESC ACT. I actually don't use the BG reminder, so good luck and enjoy your sleep!

Are you comfortable turning the BG remoinder off? Maybe setting a cell alarm to test BS later? I find that is best and I set my cell to an annoying tone to wake me!

If I understand you correctly, go to "bolus" then scroll all the way down past "easy bolus" to" BG Reminder", then it is OFF or ON.

Thanks for your replies. Actually i use the BG reminder for a totally different purpose -- it reminds me when to eat. I wait 30 minutes before eating if my blood sugar is normal, 1 hours if it is high.
