Hey Sameh,

The important thing is not to worry, the likelihood is that the problem is very simple, but could you clarify where exactly the insulin is shooting out of? Is it when you prime the tubing?
which pump are you using?
Are you rewinding the pump all the way before you put in the new reservoir? The only explanation I can give you is that if you don't fully rewind and force the reservoir in, it will necessarily shoot out of the tubing. Make sure you do not attach the reservoir to the infusion set until rewind is complete. If you have any other problems and your doctor won't help, call Medtronic. They will definitely help you.
I did this once and though the reservoir was busted, until I realized I put a full reservoir in with the piston still fully forward.
You should call the customer service department to see what you can do.
You do not mention what pump you are using. My wife recently upgraded to the Revel which has several (3) extra questions that need to be answered to refill and start the new resavore. This has created some confusion for her. There are several parts of the message displayed , which she does not always notice. Our educator has been very helpful. As already offered it sounds like you are not fully rewinding the piston before inserting the replacement. Check with the people who supplied the unit to you.
to my understanding 512's and 712's are rather outdated and yours may be worn out. Don't have any ideas for you concerning how you could get a replacement.

Sorry
