I have looked here and have not found a post. But which infusion set is better between these two the quick set or the MIO? I am using the quick-set because its what they started me on when I got my pump a month ago. I like the idea of the mio the inserter and already mounted the infusion needle but they charge more for it.

I heard you can get samples sent to you but who do you call? the Ordering line or the problem hotline?

I called Medtronic and they sent me a couple mio sets (4) free. I tried them and went back to the quick-sets. I don't know why but the mio sets sent my blood sugar way up. I went back to the quick set and they immediately went back down.

Mios are very easy!

I would call Medtronics (1.800.646.4633) and choose option 1 from the menu. If they can't help you they will connect you with someone that can.

I have some Mios, almost a full box, if anyone is interested, make me an offer. Reasonable please. I keep them, for now, since I can't return an incomplete box. I tend to pull them out or they don't last the full 72 hours on my body. But, I am heavy. Not a thinner body. I think that makes a difference. Let me know if you are interested.
