Has anyone else had problems with the plastic ring that holds the resevoir. Mine has cracked and then broken off four times in four years. I am fortunate that the pump was under warranty. Minimed was responsive, and replaced the pump overnight, but I wonder if I am doing anything wrong.

Are you referring to the threaded end of the pump? The outer most end next to the small
window?
If you are, then you must be exerting a lot of force on it when you turn the reservoir into to lock it for it to crack
You only need to twist the reservoir gently until it stops and the flat part of the
Reservoir is in line with the small window
