TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

Liberty Medical, my supplier, is unable to deliver even one box of quicksets. They say they have no inventory on hand., I called Medtronic and they told me that they are only giving people tensets at a time. I checked Medtronic's web site and found that they have almost no sure-ts or silhouettes either. What are we supposed to do? I went on the pump because it was supposed to make life easier. Now I have to be stressed about running out of supplies. This company is not very good, is it,

I got an email stating that due to limited supply I would only get 1 box a month for the next 3 months instead of my full order at one time. So far they have been good about it. I get my supplies directly from MM.

I also get mine directly from MM - I purchased my pump directly from them as well.

Yeah, MM is only supplying one box at a time, but they give you one box every 3 weeks and are extremely good about making it very easy. For me, it took one phone call and I've had 3 on-time (or early) deliveries. Honestly, it really shouldn't matter if you can get one month at a time or 3 months at a time unless you're going on vacation or someting. I wouldn't stress about it. It really hasn't been an issue and is much less of an issue now than it was shortly after the LOT8 drama.

yes you're exactly right Carolyn. I get mine due to the nature of my job and having to go on a business trip with 2 day notice (if that) . I do agree that MM makes it very easy to make sure you do have the needed supplies on time.

You are all very fortunate to be able to get your supplies directly from medtronic. Unfortunatelly, they make me order from Lilberty Medical and they are not keeping up the supply to Lilberty.

I also paid out of pocket for my pump... there's a difference.
