Anyone on the New Veo 554 pump - how much smaller is it to the 722 or Veo 754?

John, thanks. i'm a bit risk averse about getting my pump soaking wet, given in the middle of the Caribbean Minimed is not going to be much help...I'll keep looking around.

waterproof ? I go swimming with mine. and on waterslides. and shower...

My pump died after 3 years of swimming and dropping and other general abuse. I think if you are just going on a cruise and will be swimming and on beach and other water sports (para sailing, etc...) you should be ok. Minmed repalced the pump months ago. It was a minor pain in the butt waiting for them to ship it out and arguing with them about trying to switch to the 722 (I have 522) but aside from them being jerks about not swapping me up to the larger pump, everything was cool.

i was realllly p.o.'d about them not replacing the pump for a larger one. but that is a whole other story.

I wouldn't worry about the water too much.

I know that Minimed sells a waterproof case online on their website.

any recommendations for a waterproof case for a MM 522 pump? Going on a cruise in a month, thought it might be helpful for any water sports or beach time etc, rather than taking pump off. Ideas?
