Great timing Jigga! Yes, a group of us will be getting together on Wednesday evening of this week! We'll meet at Panera Bread in Edina (3345 Hazelton Road Edina, MN 55435) at 7:00. Very casual, just chatting and visiting for a while. Would be great to meet you!

Insulindependence will be hosting a free walk/run on Sunday, November 13th at Minnehaha Regional Park from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Welcome Peterspoon & MinnesotaAnn!

I think there's a bunch of local MN folks around here that would love to get together semi-regularly. I'm sure we can pull something together before too long. I met with a couple of TuDiabetes folks recently, and I get together with a few DiabetesDaily.com folks fairly often too. I think it would be great to visit with everyone. Let's keep in touch, and I'll let you both know what's happening. :-)

Hi, I found this group thanks to Peterspoon. T1 for 22 years. Hypo-unaware for 4 years......Ended up with a Diabetic Alert Service Dog. We have been a team for 1 year now. I have not had a low "episode" for that 1 year...which is a miracle! and thanks to Lily. I am no longer hesitant to go places by myself anymore. Looking forward to chatting.

Hi there, I just found this group and I am super excited! It is hard for me to find other diabetics in the area that are willing and interested in meeting up to talk and/or exercise. I recently moved to the Wayzata area (just west of the cities) and I would love to meet up with some of you guys!

Just found this group! Would you be open to allowing a cranky and out of shape T1 who needs to get moving again joining up with you all? I love meeting up with other folks around the twin cities. :-)
