Hi everyone! Do any of you have problems with your feet or legs? I have trouble with edema in my lower legs & feet as well as skin infections on my feet. What should I do to better manage this?

Hey there Monica, One thing I can think of is using support hose during the day and remembering not to leave your feet hanging down. If you can Take a break and elevate the feet every hour or so..... I know if you are working that might be impossible but try if you can. Another idea is having someone close to you check your feet everyday. I usually have my husband check mine just before we go to bed. That way if I have injured either foot during my daily activities he knows and we start the antibiotic cream/ gel whatever.
Another Idea: is if elevating is not possible try tightening up your muscles and then relaxing them every 15 or 20 minutes. This is easily done if you have to sit for long periods of time or stand. Noone knows except you and you are giving the blood in your legs a little boost to move along. These are things I used to do when I was working. I hope it assists you.... Good luck. Karen M.
