Saw Gary Burton this weekend - an excellent show, great band altogether. Some of his recent recordings seem a bit mellow. Live there was some mellowness as wells as some down & out jamming. He's heading out West - will be in Seattle tomorrow (10/4) and then on to California.

hey guys, I'm a type 1 diabetic and a singer! All of my various jobs are musical - I teach preschool music, I am a section leader in a church choir, I teach private voice and I'm also the lead singer of the progressive rock band Phavian. Check it out at
