Are you taking alpha lipoic acid (apa) for autonomic neuropathy? If so, what have you noticed in terms of positive affects? I have heard they have done tests in Germany giving patients the APA both in vitamin form and IV form with some nerve healing success.

Permalink Reply by flipper on January 10, 2013 at 11:01pm I have been on ALA for about 10 years and my neuropathy has not progressed during that time. Who knows why it hasn't progressed because I'm sure I may have done other things that affect the problem? I will continue to take it because I think it helps. I guess that is all that counts. I take the capsules.
