I have seen more and more so called No sugar Low sugar items appearing on the shelves when they actually have sugar alcohal etc this is bull.oops sorry can we get a push to stop the lies and state the truth?

My nurse at the Joslin center told me to eat the regular oreos vs the sugar free one because the carbs are just about the same except I would have fewer regular than the sugar free. I also eat dreamfields pasta and the carb smart breyers ice cream. But other than that, I pretty much eat regular foods but less.

that's very helpful info - I've never heard of dreamfields pasta, nor the carb smart breyers ice cream.

My husband just joined the Joslin center. Do you love the place ?

Yeah, I agree w/ Amy. I often compare the "low sugar" vs regular, and often times the "low sugar" has MORE carbs than the regular. so I just stick with the regular stuff.. i'd rather ingest sugar than more chemicals ;)
