Nobody in the Hudson Valley??!! Well, I've been type 1 for 18 years and I'm currently living in Gardiner, NY with my husband, our 4 month old son, and our two cats.

Hi, Brooklynite here, hoping to get plugged in to some NYC support with some other educated T1s. Psyched to be here!

I haven't heard of any in Ithaca. There's only one endocrinologist in town though.

I live in Rochester.

Won't be able to make the activities on Jan 14th, as we've got activities planned with my son's cub scout pack...
Hopefully an upcomming month will work out.

If anyone wants to make a trip to the Rochester area, for 2012 I am organizing 2 activities on the second Saturday of every month!
Saturday January 14, meet at Towpath Bike Shop, 3 Schoen Place, Pittsford NY 14534, at 9:30am for a group run/walk/jog.
Same day, Jan 14, come ice skating with the group from 2:30-4:30pm at RIT campus Frank Ritter Arena (1Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, 14623). Ice skating is $3 per person and $3 to rent skates - or bring your own skates for free!

Both activities for all ages, all fitness levels, any type of diabetes, and friends and family are welcome too!!! Hope to see some of you there! If you come to the ice skating, wear RED so I can find you!!
