Hi Mark, not quite Perth, am at Warakurna here, not really close to anywhere. Thank goodness the internet makes the distances irrelevant to some extent.

If you're in NZ, please go here to find out how you can help us lobby for subsidised pumps and consumables in NZ: http://www.beingdiabetic.co.nz/?p=398

Thanks Robert! Good to be on here and I look forward to hearing from all of you. I'm always interested in the current research, and greatful to have a condition which is getting numerous grants to undergo the research. One day soon they'll sort it out - and in the meantime the equipment we use on a daily basis is getting better too.

See you around here soon. Nic

Welcome Nic great to see folks from the Land of the Long White Cloud represented.
Great site you have , good info and was interested in the current research on islet/pig cells, let us hope this technology doesn't get developed, sold and buried like lots of other great concepts, the Sarich engine and others.
