Hi Guys,

Just joined and thought I'd say hi to the group!

Living and working in Sydney... and keen to get involved in this diabetic web thang.

Cheers,

Hi!

I am in Sydney, a Type I diabetic and been a diabetic for 13 years (funnily enough my lucky number)

I am not your typical diabetic, I tend to go extremely low (although since I've been on lantus - I hardly have any problems), I hardly exercise, after years of having food problems, I eat by measuring my carb:insulin ratio. i don't test much ... I am sure that my luck will pan out soon.

That said, I eat a mainly low fat diet, walk everywhere, drink water, have a passion for spinach and fruit (why?!)

Anyone on pumps in Sydney? It seems like most of the Americans on diabetic sites are on pumps.
I am actually really old fashioned still and I shoot up with syringes.

Nice to 'meet' you all

Hi Were from Gosford,
Were thinking of a pump for Madeline.
Sound like you're levels are so stable you dont really need a pump!
