Ok, I'm back. I found the site and got to listen to Robert Munsch read Love You Forever (you've got to love modern technology). I started getting teary at about when he was 9 years old. By the end I lost it. It was great and leaves you with a warm feeling. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Mike...are you familiar with Robert Munsch, the author of illustrated children's books? (He has an official website which you may want to peek into) He wrote a book initially meant to be for children, but which actually became a fav of parents/grandparents entitled "Love You Forever". It's about the unconditional love of a mom toward her little boy from his infancy to adulthood, the the role reversal flips and the boy become the care giver, carrying his mom around when she could no longer walk. I became aware of this book when my children were still very little, shortly after MY mom died, and to this day, I cannot read that story without crying.

I lived with my Grandmother most of my life. When I was younger she took care of me since my mom didn't want to. Later things reversed and I took care of her for her last 20 years of her life. We had great times and I keep great memories. You don't ever get over a major loss, but in time it gets easier to live with. She still lives on in my stories and in my heart. I think as long as you think of someone, they will always be with you.
