I found out I was a type 2 diabetic in 2006. I have yearly physicals, so I know about when I got it. I have it under pretty good control, although I don't do as good as I should. I take 1000 mg. Metphormin twice a day.

Hi. I am type 2 diagnosed 2001. Have been on pills which make me very ill, byetta, lantus and basically having an "I don't care" attitude. I'm now on the Omnipod pump which I started April 26. So far BG coming down from 300+ range to 140 - 200 range...my trainer said it wouldn't happen over night.

I woke up with a Blood sugar level at 155, Took a mile (brisk) walk with my dogs and its now 98. Exercise really helps.....
