Hey everybody, I started this group a few years ago, but stopped checking in because there wasn't much activity. Great to hear from other NYC T1s! I'd love to get a support meeting together too--I'm in Brooklyn, but Manhattan is fine too,

Hi!

I've lived with T1D for 11 years, and I know very few people who live with the disease.

I live in Manhattan, and I get the sense that it is hard to meet people with T1D in the city. Nicole - let me know if you're interested in meeting. I've certainly started to feel tired of it as well.

Hi there...this is my first time commenting here. I don't know anyone else with disease...I've had it for 28 years now and have recently begun to feel isolated & just tired of it. I would love to meet other diabetics...just to hang out and talk. I live in queens but manhattan is not a problem :-)

I've been to this meetup group for T1's and I always enjoy it. It's about once a month. Usually in Manhattan.
