Baby Amelia has arrived at 37.5 weeks and weighing 8.1 lbs.

After an 18 hour insane labour that ended in an emergency c-section, the baby came out perfectly healthy and safe.

I suffered very low sugars through-out the labouring process and fought very hard to keep them above 4.0 with basal decreases, lots of juice, glucose tabs and sandwiches (which is sooo not good if you have a c-section).

Baby Amelia's sugar was 3.6 upon delivery and has remained constant between 3.2 and 4.4. A few little issues with BILIRUBIN counts, but so far she is out of the woods for getting a 'sun tan' (UV lamp). Every day she has had bloodwork and they continue to monitor the minor glitch.

Thanks everyone for the support and advice!
