My baby boy has made his appearance! I was scheduled for a c-section on Wednesday due to his size, but my water broke Saturday night so we ended up having him early Sunday morning! My last ultrasound (the Tuesday before I had him) predicted he was 9lb 11oz at that time. Well, he ended up being 10lb 11oz at birth!!! So glad I did not have to push him out!!! (His papa was a 12.5lb baby so it's not just the diabetes....). He is perfectly healthy, so I couldn't ask for anything more.

My pregnancy was smooth, although I did develop high blood pressure post-delivery. The doctors told me that meant I had preeclampsia, which I didn't know you could get after delivery! So I'm on blood pressure meds for awhile, but I feel fine (besides general soreness and being very tired!).

I'm thoroughly enjoying having very low insulin needs at the moment, although I'm so busy mothering I hardly have time to eat anyways! :) Speaking of mothering, baby is crying now so I best see what he needs!
