Permalink Reply by kestrel on March 23, 2012 at 4:09pm I seem to have gotten some kind of mild food poisoning from lunch... threw up a couple of times. Of course, us T1s get the added bonus of a nasty low afterwards. Which I wasn't expecting (I had a relatively easy first trimester, and this might actually be the first time I've thrown up since being dx'd a year and a half ago.) So then I wound up at 34, crying and sweating profusely. It took like an hour and probably almost 50 carbs to get myself out of the 40s. Luckily, I was at home and my husband was too; unluckily, I missed a flight.
Oh well. I feel OK, if a bit washed out now. Someone tell me what I know intellectually -- that the little one is perfectly fine? She gets really really active when I'm low, but she's been quiet since. Hopefully she just tired herself out.
