Hi all - my boys arrived on Tuesday night (10/4) via an emergency c-section. I developed preeclampsia and deteriorated pretty rapidly, so they were born at 30w4d. Currently in the NICU, and will be there for several weeks. Robert weight 3lbs7oz, Michael 3lbs3oz, and both came put screaming and strong. So far, they are doing well. I'm still recovering at the hospital and will update more when I can.

Hi Everyone... I'm new to the diabetics community and also trying to conceive. Hopefully with this group I'll be able to gain some helpful insight. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for about a year. Was disgnosed with PCOS back in Oct. 2010. Was disgnosed with diabetes on Oct. 4, 2011. What a year this has been.

OK, I just checked a discussionthat I posted here and realized that things didn't stabilize until he was about two months old. Now it feels like so long ago, but I guess it took me a while to figure out how much insulin and carbs I needed next to breastfeeding.

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
