UPDATE
Today I received a message that they now started distributing the new PDM (black) in the Netherlands. The new Pod will be available at the end of September or beginning of October.

OK, I wasn't aware of that. Yes, the "old" PDM took just like the new one both meal and correction boluses into account. I meticuosly have compared both manuals and noticed not a single difference. Perhaps things are different over here.

The current PDM shows as IOB only corrections: bolus for meals is "thought" to cover the carbs and not displayed.

look for example at http://forums.childrenwithdiabetes.com/showthread.php?t=70719

The new PDM show all insulin on board:

The PDM status screen now always shows details about your current insulin on board (IOB). Correction and meal boluses are used to calculate your IOB when the suggested bolus calculator is on.

That's right. I love the new IOB status screen.

About a week ago I got a hypo and I was around 49. With 5,5 units IOB still 'active' in my body. So that's when I new to turn off the pump for a couple of hours and took some Dextro's. Because I would only go down with still some active insuline.
