I will post this in the MiniMed group too, but I have a question for everyone. Do any of you know of any ways to get assistance with getting pump supplies. My (new) boss has the minimed and due to her pre-existing condition, our insurance will not pay for any of her scripts relating to diabetes and she can't afford to pay full price for her supplies. If any of you have any ideas or avenues that I can tell her to explore, I would be grateful. Thanks.

Appeal ... I thought one cannot be turned down for a pre-existing condition! I am now covered under BC/BS Medicare for tho Omni pod.. They wouldn't cover me previously for anything!

Hi Dee , Medicare pays for omni pod now?? I thought they only paid for tubed pumps.
Matt

My ins does not follow Medicare guidelines. I feel like I won the lottery!!, I pay 20% for the pods..

Wow! How did you manage that?

At some point due to Obama's health care law, this is not supposed to be allowed. They have to cover. Insurance companies are such crooks.

That is why I wrote she should fight this decision!
