I'm curious.. a lot of people post about how much their a1c's go down after being put on the Omnipod. I know my numbers have been a lot better since, but I don't go to my endo for another month to get an a1c done. How much did yours change after Omnipodding?

Congratulations Emily Joy. I'm happy for you. I go tomorrow for my first "Omnipod" A1C but I've had numerous hypos so......I am going to try and be happy with whatever number I get as long as it is still around what I had before I started the Omnipod which was 6.4.

So I forgot to update...

pre pod 9.1
3 months after pod 6.5 12/18/2008
6 months after pod 6.0 3/19/09
Down to 6.0 today! Take that, OmniPod naysayers...(You know who you are!)

(Started in Jan. at 7.9, 6.5 in March, 6.0 June 1)
At my first visit after getting the Omni Pod, mine dropped .3. I will get tested again this month and see what my A1C is then. I have noticed that my day to day number seem better. I don't get as many highs and lows as I used to.
