Hi there,
So i have to do some physical therapy on my back hip. And one of the things they do there is the Tens unit- which is where they place pads on your skin that causes muscle contracts. I was wondering if anyone knows if they may cause issues with my pod which is generally worn on my front abdomen.
Thanks!
Tom

Ask insulet..

I have had the Tens unit placed on my back on multiple occasions and whereas I do watch the placement of my pod (I will make sure it is on my stomach or arm), I have not had any issues with the pod and delivery of insulin. If you are concerned, you can certainly call Insulet, but I have not encountered any problems.

Oh yeah I'd call your pump rep! And otherwise I'd move to arm and leg sites for a bit!
No...use mine with TENS on lower back...had pod directly in front with no issues

I use a TENS on my shoulders with no problems with the pod. Never thought about it before doing this combo, but others I've talked with say it shouldn't be a problem. Never has shown any problems with me.
