I tried installing the software on a friends pc, and it wasnt working. I think its some protective software they have preventing anything new from being installed, she cant remember any of her passwords to allow installation.
So I am back to trying to install on my mac. Anyone successfully done this? Do you run parallel? Do you need to install windows first, or any other 'pc' software?
thanks!

As far as I know the software won't work on a MAC I had to call the help line to install on my PC because it didn't work. That's what I'd do if you don't get an answer about the MAC. I just called them and they walked me through the process.
Permalink Reply by Scott Wilkins on June 26, 2012 at 3:33pm Won't work on a Mac. Sorry. Probably won't work in Parallels, but might be worth a try. Since Macs are still less than 7% of the market, they probably won't support it.
The install on a PC can be finicky too, so keep at it. On my install, it didn't work the first day, but left it alone and it worked the 2nd day. I hope to test the software on a Windows 8 tablet in the next couple of weeks (pre-release of course). That should be interesting.

Permalink Reply by Rob Martin on June 29, 2012 at 8:40am I was never able to get any of the emulators like Parallels or Virtual Box to see the PDM. The only way I've ever gotten it to work on my Mac was was to install and run windows via Bootcamp.
