Started The OmniPod
Last night I started the first live pod. It was way easier than I thought, and I know I can do this now because the pod does the hard stuff for me.
When I started my BG was 319, and this morning it's 202! This is the lowest its been in a long time. I checked it at 2am & 4am and it was thrilling to see it dropping...I can't wait to get it leveled out so my eyesight will adjust and I can get them checked.
My trainer is a doll and said she will call me to check on things so I don't feel like I was just thrown out there on my own. Also knowing all of you are here helps a lot also.
Now I only have to remember to check my BG a little more often than I have been.
Whoo Hoo! I can do this!!

Glad I was able to provide some entertainment...stick around there will probably be more LOL
I am starting another new adventure today. I am gonna try to make this my first 'smoke free" day of the rest of my life. I have...HAD been a smoker for 37 years and it's time to quit! Just have to keep from using food as a substitute.

Ok I have had my Alien Seed Pod attached for a week and my Basal was raised to 1.00 u last night. This morning my BG is 138 which is within my target range! Things are really looking better.
Yesterday I ran into a friend with type 2 and her Dr is talking about the pump for her. I told her about OmniPod and also TuDiabetes. I believe she will get the best results and support like I have.
