Sorry cant help you, the Verio is not available in the states yet, otherwise I would have had one already.

Did you ever remedy the probs w/your strips?
Just got the Verio IQ a month ago - haven't had any probs yet.

Things have improved a little. The folks down in Melbourne must of changed something with the strips in manufacturing as I have less errors. I don't use it on a regular basis now since I'm using the Accu-Chek Mobile Gen 2. Though its a fantastic backup. Hows the IQ going? I would buy it if it made its way here. The light is what attracts me to it.
