My son's hair seems to get "greasy" very quickly. Can insulin be at the root of this?

Permalink Reply by daneenm on January 23, 2012 at 11:52am Oh yes. I have yet to start down the teenage hormone track with my son (he is 11), but my daughter had this problem early on in puberty. It was this time that she started shampooing twice when she showered and definitely had to wash her hair every day.

I will watch this conversation. We have been through every kind of shampoo. I know I use to rinse my hair with vinegar when I was younger to really get it clean but if it is hormones there is not a lot that can be done.
