Comment by marnie on September 30, 2012 at 9:08pm My daughter has the same breakfast everyday on school days. It is: glass of milk, waffle with peanut butter on it, some berries, and just 1/4 cup of dry cereal. I do switch the cereal so at least that is different but I only give her cereal made from whole grain oats, not corn. I also switch from raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc. Also, I do put a smiley face on her waffle with just a couple of small squirts of whipped cream (that only adds about 2 carbs). Her entire breakfast is 48 carbs. On the weekend she gets either eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc.

Comment by c.schambers on September 30, 2012 at 4:56pm What do you feed your T1 for breakfast before school?
Comment by Elizabeth on August 20, 2012 at 5:50pm We're using Humalog in Eric's pump and have never had an issue with clogging.
Comment by ahe05a on August 20, 2012 at 9:26am Our Endo said that most prefer Novolog for the pump because Humalog is a little bit grainy and can clog up a pump. We use Novo, but have use Humalog in a pinch and it was fine.
Comment by Jacob's mom on August 18, 2012 at 6:31am i'd keep tweeking the basals, a weary mom shouldnt have to consistently bolus during the night, good that she has the dexcom so you can see the trends, hoping for some good sleep for all of you! amy
Comment by Cobi Campbell on August 18, 2012 at 6:21am I'm grateful for the input! I think that Monday night was just the perfect storm of factors that had her bg's up all night. It's become obvious over the rest of the week that her overnight basals are out of whack (Dexcom arrow straight up 4 hours after dinner???) I'm continuing to increase basals slowly and it's getting a bit better. Still need to bolus in the middle of the night but her bgs aren't super-high anymore. :)
