Earlier today I was watching Brynn, our 5 month old pup, attack her dog bed. About 2 weeks ago she managed to break the zipper on it. This week she has managed to put a whole in it. Today she was getting the "fluff" out of it, she would grab some out of it, shake it around, drop it and dive in for more. I couldn't decide whether I was upset about all the "fluff" all over the floor (and I do mean all over!) or amused by watching her attack it and try to kill it. I swear that the reason puppies are so cute is because otherwise there are times where it is doubtful they would survive to doghood!

She is actually a good baby and hasn't really destroyed anything except her toys.
She really likes empty soda bottles and the cats to play with

This is her at about 2 1/2 months!

That has GOT to be one very patient cat!!
She loves the dogs. She will rub up against them. She has her moments and runs away or jumps up where they can't get her but she will also play with them and bat at them. If she wants to play she will let Brynn nip at her legs. Our other cat has no interest in playing with the dogs.

They all have such diverse personalities, don't they! We had a cute and mushy Tabby for nearly 15 years....she died in July. We have now inherited our daughter's wee black toy poodle....looks like a little lamb!
That is such a cute picture!!
What an amazing picture! You just get a sense of her (his?) whole personality from this picture. Here's a picture of my Brittany, Chaos, running across our yard. He is definitely having fun!

That is so cute!
my beloved Norwegian Elkhound, Archie, used to do the same thing to his bed! I am a quilter so I patched and re-patched it many times. His favorite toy as a puppy was gallon milk jugs, he'd chew and bat them about the yard, and then chew them into tiny pieces. it's been 3 years, and I still miss him so.....
I just had to pick up all the "snow" from her latest bed attack. I caught a picture of her from my phone with her head buried in the hole she put in the bed.
I finally gave up and put the bed in the trash - Santa will have to bring her a new one.

Hysterical! What kind of dog is she?
She is so cute! Living through the puppy stage is fun at times and drives you nuts at others. Our pup is a year old and 45 lb. so when he makes a mess it is a real mess but he only distroys his own toys. He was into toilet paper and trash but we sprayed some stuff that stinks to them on that stuff and he doesn't bother it any more. His toys on the other hand are everywhere! The biggie is when he wants attention he is big enough to demand it. LOL
