No carbs for the sugar-free cough syrups. As for the ones with sugar or with alcohol, it's 9 carbs per tablespoon. Hope that helps!

Just so you know, there are prescription cough meds that can be prescribed for diabetics, I have never given insulin for them. Be careful if you bolus for cough med, the alcohol can drop your BS and if you have bolused you could be in trouble. Hope this helps!
