I have gone through the Novo / Humalog and am now on Apidra. I just used the reg long long time ago in my pump and I think I may have had better control with less fast swings if that makes sense.

Hi Sandy. Regular does work in a pump, but more slowly. My experience was with a MM522. I became very impatient waiting for corrections to get done. It is an option of course if you don't have any fast acting. When I wear my pump, I use Apidra.

Is anyone still pumping reg insulin in their pumps? I was just wondering b/c everything is fast acting these days but I do not seem to remember having any kind of problems with the reg insulin back when I first started. My Endo actually didn't like the fast acting stuff when it first started being used in the pumps b/c of the fast break down and all. Just wondering is all.

Hi Everyone,
I've just got myself the Accu-Chek 360 software. I can download my Performa meter fine, but my D-TRONplus Pump doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else had any trouble with download their pumps?
Here's a link to a video of the process I went through.

Perhaps you can spot the problem.
Thanks,
Hamish

@Meg, the ominpod group is great! I was somewhat interested in the pod when I jointed the group and was able to get a ton of feedback to help in my decision. :)

Here is a photo I took with a pod next to a bunch of standard supplies: http://www.tudiabetes.org/photo/583967:Photo:230527?context=user

Meg, have you checked out the photos of any of the pod users here on TuDiabetes? We have a super active discussion group for podders. Feel free to join even if you're only mildly interested. The pod's really not that big. The trial will be the regular size. They haven't released the smaller ones yet.
