I have heard that MSM also helps with the lowering of blood sugars. Anyone tried it?

Debbie, I have never heard about the use of MSM to lower bs. I have been taking MSM for more than 10 years now. This mineral is an immune builder, so I never get the common colds, flu, etc. I even worked in the hospital a few years ago and drew blood from a positive Hepatitis patient and never caught it. I really like MSM when I get a cut. I just pour some witch hazel on my wound and sprinkle some MSM over it. Since Diabetic's are slow healers this always has helped me to speed up the healing process.

I even had a skin infection one time and instead of going to the doctor to get antibiotic's. I kept cleaning my wound every 30 minutes with the witch hazel and MSM. I also was taking a larger amount of MSM internally while I had the infection. This cleared it right up. I don't suggest anyone else do this since cellulitis is a very serious condition, especially for Diabetic's.

One needs to be careful trying to take pills for lowering blood sugars. First you must be under good control with your Diabetes before you try anything to reduce them. Think about it why would someone want to lower their bs if they never check them in the first place. A lot of these so called bs fixer's are a hoax. I am a health nut, but I also know there are a lot of fake products out there that do not work.

If you are looking for some blood sugar help first make sure you are on top of checking your bs before & after you eat. Learn which foods are high carbs and replace them with lower carbs. Like white potatoes has the same effect on your bs as eating a candy bar. Instead try sweet potatoes or yams have about half the carb count. Spaghetti squash instead of spaghetti.

Sorry, I did not mean to carry on here. I wish you the best of luck!
