looking around the internet for some assistance with my Palm and windows 7, here is what is suggested
http://forums.hpwebos.com/t5/Windows-HotSync/Successful-Migration-o...

I guess I'm going to not be using my Palm pilot anymore. this is too difficult. I don't even understand half of what they're talking about.

I just had to get a new computer, it has Windows7 and I'm not sure if the Palm desktop software is compatible. I feel clueless and frustrated. when I hit hotsynch on the Palm, the computer makes a lot of noises but I don't get any error messages.

I know, it's frustrating. I'm due for a new pump soon.

Still feel as if the FDA is acting like a child who accidentally burned their hand on a stove with trepidation and trying to overtly protect us from ourselves... its stifling a lot of innovation and theres a lot of stuff that should be available in the US that is NOT due to this

Thanks for the info Jake. I guess we just hurry up and wait.

Hey Chris..
Seems that the Spirit combo is pending 510k approval in the US and is in-process. However the Aviva Nano (has a slightly different name in US, has been approvedconsidered no code now with the Aviva Plus strips (which are also approved and shipping, new chemistry for dealing with icodextrin and other infusion solutions that would false highs leading to overcorrection and lows in these patients) (the strips approval (Aviva Plus) was why the original Nano was not approved, FDA wanted the icodextrin issue resolved, as also the FastClix lancing device), Pump configuration software compatible with Windows 7 is pending FDA approval

Hi everybody. I'm new to this group and was just wondering if anybody knew
When the Combo pump from Roche would be avaiable in the states? I have been a pumper on several different pump models for about 13 years. The spirit tops them all because of Roches' customer service and backup pump they send. If anybody has any info on the start date for combo I would appreciate it.

Palm Software Question...I'm just getting started with a Spirit pump and am trying to get everything ready for my training. My DE told me to go ahead and get the software installed on the Palm before coming in. I have installed and am stuck on one of the set-up screens. The Palm freezes on that screen everytime I restart. So, anyone else have this issue? I've googled and cannot find troubleshooting info on the software. I appreciate any input and am very happy to start using this pump!

A little about me...I'm T1, diagnosed at 27, been pumping with Omnipod for 2 years.
