Doug Masiuk is a type 1 diabetic running across the country, connecting with diabetic communities along the way at hospitals, summer camps, schools, senior centers, and even grocery stores. This Saturday, he'll be at the southeast corner of Washington Park in Denver between 10am and 12pm, meeting with members of the ADA, JDRF, as well as local running groups. If you're interested in meeting Doug and showing your support, come visit us.

This group seems awfully quiet this year so far. Since I just found Tudiabetes, and I live in Ft Collins, I'm hoping to stir up some activity here.

I was at the Barbara Davis Center this morning. There was a flyer for happy hour at Fado Irish Pub (1735 19th St) on June 17th for type 1s. It's a Colorado group of type 1s called a1c. Call Peter Fryer by June 16 to RSVP. (720) 855-1102 ext. 7041.

love to get together, but I haven't skied in years, I used to be a 4 day a week skier when I was in my early 20's. Something a little more tame would be great
