Hi All,

I live in Burlingame, and have been going to UCSF for my diabetes care since I moved to the bay area last summer. I have not had a good experience with my endo there, Dr. Kennedy. I have been seeing her since last oct with no improvements made to my A1C. I have been actively working out with a trainer 3-4x per week to get pre-conception ready, but I am lacking the support from a medical team to help me get to where I need to be. I have put in a request to see Dr. Masharani in the same office and they will not let me get an appt with her until I meet with the dr I don't like to get a referel for a second opinion. To make matters worse, she won't see my until the end of sept (I requested the appt in early jul, and was seeing her every 2 wks prior). I feel like I am stuck and don't want to wait two months to get the care I need to optimize my pump ratio and get my sugars down. Any recommendations on supportive good endo's in the bay or penninsula would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

Crystal
