Hello Dia'buddies,

I moved here from LA last summer, and per my UCLA endo's recommendation I have been seeing Dr. Kennedy at UCSF, Parnassus location. I have been trying to work closely with her since last October, but it just is not working out. I find her to be cold, and at times downright mean & judgmental-- I often leave her office in tears. I have been diabetic since I was 19 and never had this experience with an endo. I am just looking for a good endo that is willing to POSITIVELY work with patients, think outside the box with solutions. I am working on some preconception control and would like to stay within the UCSF system. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Crystal

I see Dr. Masharani in the same office. He's hands down the best endocrinologist I've ever seen in my 12 years of being a T1, and very personable and positive. He worked very closely with me to bring down my HA1c so I could start trying to get pregnant. I have a friend who is also one of his patients and she thinks he's great too.
Good to know. I see Kennedy again this coming TH, if things go like they did the last appt I am going to ask to be switched to him. I have heard lots of good things about him, nice to hear advice from one of his current patients. : ) Thanks again!
