Who is a good endo in Anthem BLue Cross network in San Fran?
Can anyone advise on a good endo who is part of the Anthem Blue Cross network in San Francisco. I am just getting coverage with my job and need to make a choice.

Grace Eng is unbelievably good.. She's in Oakland though (which is still extremely close to San Fran and very worth the Bart ride). I have the same insurance and I'm covered.. My co-pay is $10 for an office visit. I don't know if she is taking new patients.. Hopefully for you, yes. Her number is 510.465.6700 and her office is off of 30th or 33rd and telegraph (it's the Alta bates near Samuel Merritt univ) in Oakland! Good luck!!

You can try the UCSF Diabetes Center in SF. They have excellent dr.'s and a great education center.

I see Dr. Robert Rushakoff at UCSF. He's a good guy. He's located at Mt. Zion at Post and Divis. I was on Unicare until July 1 and that was a Blue Cross product. Rushakoff is on most insurance rolls. I've changed insurance several times over the course of the years and I've been able to maintain my health care team in tact.
His number is 415.885.3868. Good luck in your search.
