TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

My five year old daughter takes Ballet and Hip Hop classes twice a week. I used to sit in my car while she was in the 50 minute class. Now I force myself to walk for 30 minutes or do an exercise class at the gym that is right next door to the dance studio. I have lost weight and on the days I do this my BG is as close to perfect as it can get. It feels like a gift, those 30+ minutes and they make such a difference with my health.

Jenny ,

Your aches sound indeed like shin splints( darn uncomfortable ) . I understand, that running/walking shoes " last about 500-800 kilometers " . You may need to replace your shoes ???
