hello
I've had type 1 for almost28yrs and take Apidra on an insulin pump. I've always wanted to meet a fellow diabetic to date but only met 1 or 2 type 2's who could not relate to what I've been thr all of these yrs. Anyway; I've just jointe tudiabetes website and am very happy to find this subset of single people. All of the diabetics in my support group have beenmarried for a lifetime; i'm the only single person there and have walked out of those meetings many times feeling more alone than before having gone in.Nice to be here.

Hi Gail! Wow, I feel very similar... I agree, it would be nice to have a partner who truly understands. Plus, we could be just as understanding ourselves. I think that both people in this type of relationship would greatly benefit. I would love to find a T1 near me too. Good luck, I hope it happens for you!!! -Kelly
