Dude its actually not that easy how people have explained, i have suffered embarrassment and rejection many a times when i tried this policy of honesty.
However i m still following the same policy but with a broken confidence and courage.
O hon, find another set of girls. maybe even friends in general to to be around. I am always up front about my diabetes, and if the guy does not choose to be around me because I am diabetic.. then Poof!!! His " N.O. ( NO)" to me means get ready for the " NEXT OPPORTUNITY". You are young. As you mature and become more confident in who You are, diabetes and all parts of you..You are complete and wonderful; You will not take these so called rejections as confidence breakers. There is always the next opportunity. Believe that.

thanks alot Brunetta for the NO logic....
This is a great way of thinking!! This just put a nice positive note in my day!
Usually when meeting new people, within some time I am testing to check in, so it naturally comes up. I have to say I have only experienced a cold D shoulder once, What I seem to get more of is " yeah, my grandma has that".... well that is nice..lol
Diabetes is nothing to be ashamed of, especially not on a first or second date. I have had a few cold shoulders which shook my confidence, but then I was like, "Hey! I'm not just a diabetic! I'm lots of other fantastic things and if you don't want one aspect of my life, then you don't deserve the rest."
