With all the problems that we T1's face. Our powerful mind can be the solution to all. Just like Mr. Spock (startrek), be more logical then emotional. Develop self control like a Jedi. Think yourself as the chosen one. Become my friend, etc. (Ha Ha :-)).

I am also living in a new city away from my friends and family alone. I have one or two friends here so far and my dogs. It helps me to know that when you spend time alone you are able to individuate yourself more. It also allows time to work on whatever character flaws you may have before entering into a relationship. I need to work on being more patient as an example. Get out and meet new people. Just get out and do things. Even if someone may not understand what it is to live with diabetes, they may have other hardships that you may not have known in your life as of yet. Take care, Sai.
