Hello!

I just arrived in Delhi to visit my family here for three weeks - very excited to be back in india!

Does anyone know of a good resource for counting carbs in Indian food?

Thanks!

Dear hearts----I fell in love with Indian culture through a love of your textiles. Silly-sounding, perhaps, but I think as good a way as any to fall in love with an unfamilir culture! (I call myself a silk junkie, among other things) when I was just a little girl. My daughter teaches at Mt Madonna School in the Santa Cruz, California mountains. I just visited there to see my grandson in a lush, gorgeous all-school production of The Ramayana.

I posted some pictures at my page if you are interested. Including crowns and masks made by Baba Ji, himself, 33 years ago.The school has a sister-school/orphanage in India. My daughter was there with her students last month and I'll post those pictures soon. I already posted a moving shot of her with athe Dalai Lama.

Now she's off to South Africa with a different group of her students and meeting with Archbishop TuTu, as well as doing service at his orphanage for AIDS babies.....I can't keep up with her anymore!!!!...Best to all!!!

GOOD COLD MORNING DEAR FRIENDS

With a lot of passion and so much desire...
The sweetest, that I very much like,
The words I more eagerly enjoy,
The ones that come from your lips, my love

Wish you all the best of Health My FRIENDS

Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister.
If you don't understand how a woman
could both love her sister dearly and
want to wring her neck at the same time,
then you were probably an only child.
Children of the same family, the same blood,
with the same first associations and habits,
have some means of enjoyment in their power,
which no subsequent connections can supply...

Happy womens day
