Hi Cassie!

I go to Dr. Rosenblit in Huntington Beach. He's off of Delaware and Main Street. His office isn't the newest office, but his staff is really nice. I'm also active with softball (coaching and playing). They've worked with me on not having so many lows and they are currently in the process of changing their office over to an electronic system.
I want to say that the first available appt won't be until July. :-/

Hi Casssie - I might be a little late on this one but when I moved from Tampa to LA in '04, it took me a year to find a doc I was comfortable with. If you don't mind a short drive every 3 months, I go to Dr. Ann Peters - she used to be at UCLA and moved over to USC and runs the program. Here is her website so you can get all her info. http://www.uscdiabetes.com/ If you call, ask for Judith. I liked her because she was the first doc to block out an hour of time on the first visit - going over history, family etc. One of the few that spends time with you. She gets your A1C right in the office and downloads all your pump data right in the office and prints it out so you can both go over it. If I ever move away again, I'll fly back just so she can be my doc. Good luck in your search.

Hi Cassie, I also go to Dr Anne Peters at the Beverly Hills location on Robertson. I've had type 1 for 25 years and with the help of her team, had a successful pregnancy last year and a baby boy born in September. It took me a long time to find her but it was well worth the wait -- she's by far the best endo I've ever had. Spends as much time as you need with her. Staff emails, calls, gives personal attention no other practice I've been to... Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!
