Twas the week after Christmas and look at my house!

I brought home all sorts of gifts from the students -- including a whole heck of a lot of caramel corn, chocolate, cookies, candies of all shapes and sizes . . .

I was hoping that by now my family and holiday visitors would have eaten most of it but I am still looking at a dining room table full of goodies.

I have been a total good girl -- not a bite --- but those sweeties are calling me by name . . .

I'm getting ready to pack up the goodies to distribute to the neighborhood, but I was wondering what creative ideas everyone has to get rid of the goodies.

((Before the holidays, I always talk to the kids about appropriate gifts for a diabetic but they are 11-12 year-olds and don't listen. They also have parents that get into their head 'the gift' for all the teachers and so we all get the same thing whether it is appropriate or not. I did get a nice selection of candles, hand lotion, home made cards and my favorite - they burn me a CD of music they think I will like for my car drive to/from work. But alas, here I am with a table of sugar . . .))
