What's one thing you like about diabetes and one thing you do not like about diabetes?

I recently went to a diabetic camp were i was being trained as a counsler and one of the disscusions we had was one thing we liked and hated about diabetes. I thought it would be a great idea to get your point of view on the topic. thank you -<3lula

What camp are you going to? one thing i like is that it's one of the most treatable diseases one think that i hate though is that i have to bolus for everything i eat .
I went to camp this summer! I had a blast! I am definitely going back next yeaR... no doubt! I will get back with you on the Q. I gotta go shoot up and eat dinner ;)
like: if i didnt have to watch what i ate, i would probably be fat lol
dislike: the fact that i have to manage everything closely or put myself at risk for DKA or passing out (which thankfully has never happened)
Like: I have a special camp for my disease and can meet lots of people like me.
Dislike: Being different from everyone and trying to explain whats wrong and why I am doing what I am doing.
Like; it gives you something to talk about with people(health wise) .
Dislike; low bloodsugars because well they just suck.

like: I guess its kinda cool to think you're one of those few people who need to inject an artificial hormone to survive, sounds kinda futuristic or as though you're a cyborg.
dislike: Having to take some challenging decisions/strategies not to stay up for way too long making sure you're not too low/high while you sleep.
